The Escape Pod was a response to the heightened sense of urgency and fear experienced by those living in New York City during the months following the attacks on 9/11/2001. Here Raskin performs in a homemade pod made from spray bottles, duct tape, lumber, a garbage bag, and a box fan. Various over-the-counter and household products are used to punctuate the video's narrative.
